# Waycar Pro and Launches

Waycar is free with 10 Launches in any rolling 30 days; Waycar Pro removes that limit and changes nothing else.

Waycar is free with 10 Launches in any rolling 30 days. Waycar Pro is a subscription that removes that limit. Every feature is in both Free and Pro, and there is no Waycar account: Apple handles payment.

## What counts as a Launch?

- Starting a new agent or shell from Waycar
- Resuming a closed agent from **Closed**
- Starting an agent by typing its command in a Waycar shell

## What never counts?

- Opening, watching, reading or prompting sessions that are already running
- Agents you start at your desk
- Launches that fail
- Launches you make while you have Pro

A Launch stops counting 30 days after you make it.

## What happens at the limit?

Everything already running keeps working: watching, the Composer, notifications and Live Activities. Starting something new shows Waycar Pro instead, along with the day your next free Launch opens.

An agent you start by typing its command in a shell after the limit keeps running on the Host. On that device, its screen and Composer stay hidden until you get Pro or the agent ends. Your other agents aren't affected.

## How many Launches have I used?

Open **Settings** › **Subscription**. **Plan** shows **Free** or **Waycar Pro**. On Pro, **Renews** shows the next renewal date, or **Ends** once you've turned off auto-renew.

On Free, tap **See Waycar Pro**. It shows how many of your 10 Launches you've used in the last 30 days and, once you've used all 10, the day your next free Launch opens. The same screen offers both plans, with **Terms of Use** and **Privacy Policy** links and how to cancel.

## Use Pro on your iPhone and iPad

One plan covers every device on the same Apple Account. On a new device:

1. Open **Settings** › **Subscription**.
2. Tap **Restore Purchases**.

You see **Purchases Restored** when it finds your plan, or **Nothing to Restore** if this Apple Account has no active Waycar Pro subscription. If the restore fails, **Couldn't Restore** shows the reason; check your connection and try again. If you cancel the Apple sign-in, no message appears.

With iCloud Keychain on, your free Launches are counted across all your devices, and the count survives deleting and reinstalling the app.

## Cancel Waycar Pro

Cancel anytime in iOS **Settings** › **Apple Account** › **Subscriptions**, or tap **Manage Subscription** in Waycar's **Settings** › **Subscription**. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to stop the next renewal. Apple handles refunds.

## Switch between Monthly and Yearly

Tap **Manage Subscription** in Waycar's **Settings** › **Subscription**, or use iOS **Settings** › **Apple Account** › **Subscriptions**, and pick the other plan. The switch starts at your next renewal.

## Good to know

To count Launches, Waycar saves a small record in your own iCloud Keychain: a random ID, the time, a random device ID and the kind of Launch. It never saves Host names, commands or screen content. See [Privacy and analytics](https://waycar.dev/help/privacy).
